托福阅读突破高分指南

广大参加托福考试培训的人都知道,托福阅读有三篇文章,与老托福不同的是,考生不需要在答题之前通读全文,而是在做题的过程中分段阅读文章。每篇文章对应有11道试题,均为选择题。除了最后一道试题之外,其他试题都是针对文章的某一部分提问,试题的出现顺序与文章的段落顺序一致。最后一题针对整篇文章提问,要求考生从多条选择项中挑选若干项对全文进行总结或归纳。新一代托福阅读文章的篇幅比老托福阅读文章的篇幅略长,在此时限中考生可以复查、修改已递交的答案。如何突破阅读获得高分呢?给出以下几点建议:

1、足够丰富的词汇量

不管什么类型的英语考试,词汇量是最基本的要求,阅读需要一定数量的词汇积累,对于托福考试来说,尤其是阅读部分,至少需要有7000个词汇量左右,当然如果可以词汇量越多越好,差不多跟六级词汇量一样。英语阅读考察的是一个英语输入能力,对文章语句的理解贯通,有丰富词汇的基础之下,就要可以进入翻译的过程了。文义的转换的,有选读、跳读、、默读、寻读、研读等等。如果词汇量足够,大致可以理解出现的词汇和题型;而且阅读的速度也是跟词汇量的熟练程度有关的,词汇量越多越熟悉,答题速度越快。托福语法也对英语词汇量有要求。
