其实在语言中，语气也是一个重要的表达方式，不管是疑问还是感叹，亦或是震惊的表述，都是可以用语气表达出来的，就像我们比较熟悉的汉语中的语气词：啊，呀，吧等等。在英语中，表达语气的一个重要方式，便是轻重音以及声调的方式了。

不难看出，不管是BEST、VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE；还是VERY GOOD、MAYBE、FRIENDS，这些重音部分的所在都是句子中的关键词，也是说话人最想告诉我们的重要信息，所以我们几乎可以掌握一个规律：在英语中，需要以重音标注的，就是句子中比较关键的词语。
