一个团队开发了一种新的隐形眼镜，它可以不断监测眼泪中的糖分。以此来监测糖尿病患者的血糖含量。以前的研究表明，眼泪的糖含量与血糖密切相关。通过照镜子，佩戴者可以看到隐形眼镜中的LED灯是开还是关，it would mainly be used to let people with diabetes know if they need to adjust their medication or lifestyle. But it could also be useful for monitoring people at risk of developing the condition.
