1. mistake ：错误，过失

the mistake was caused by careless and forgetting

例：

His mother blasted to make him admit his mistakes.

他的母亲批评他使他承认自己所犯的错误。

He brought coat for her by mistake.

他为她拿错了外套。

Everyone can make a mistake, but it is precious to correct it on time.

人人都会犯错，但是贵在能及时改正错误。

Can’t you make no mistake next time？

你下次就不能别再搞错了？

2. error：误差，错误，过失

Something you have done that is considered to be incorrect or wrong in judgment/compute/intelligence/moral, etc, or that you should not have done.

例：

A mathematical error in count calculations is absolutely not a small thing.

在会计计算中，一个数学错误绝对不是一件小事儿。

How can you explain away your error?

3. blunder：大错

A blunder is a stupid mistake because of ignorance of careless.

例：

He made a terrible blunder.

他犯了个可怕又愚蠢的错误。

Once I perceived myself in a blunder, I would correct it.

一意识到自己弄巧成拙，我就去改正它。

The blunder caused our only machine broken down.

这个错误导致我们唯一的机器失灵了。

4. slip：错误，事故

A slip is a small or unimportant mistake.

例：

You must be well prepared. There must be no slip.

你们必须好好准备不能出差错。

All efforts will be in vain if there is a slip.

如果出现一个小的疏漏，一切努力都将白费。
