1. Ted: I know. I'm so psyched we did this.

psyched: /'saikt/ adj. very eager, ready or excited about doing something

Are you psyched for this party?

I'm so psyched about my vacation.

2.

Kendall: Barney, we need you out front . There is a logjam on the stuffing line. Can you show them how it's done?

Barney: I'm on it .

(1) out front: in the area directly before or ahead of something (such as a building)

例:

There was a small statue on the lawn out front.

(2) logjam: a situation in which a large number of logs floating down a river become tangled with each other so that further movement is not possible

I got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home from work.

(3) I'm on it: actively dealing with a problem, job etc.

''We need to get this paperwork done.''  ''Don't worry. I'm on it.''

3. Kendall: Every Sunday, all year long .

all year long: adv. 整年

例:

It often rains here all day long.

The music coming from the apartment upstairs kept me awake all night long.

He went to swim every day all summer long.

4.

Robin: Come on , we just wanna help out .

Barney: Kendall, they're cool

(1) come on:

''I don't feel like going out tonight.''  ''Oh, come on! It'll do you good to get out of the house for a while.''

''I don't think I can go any further.''  ''Come on! You can do it if you keep trying!''

Come on, let's go!

''I think she could win the election.''  ''Come on! She doesn't have a chance.''

(2) help out: v. to do something so another person's job or task is easier

例:

I can't do this myself. Won't someone please help me out?

I sometimes help out in the kitchen.
