I know it's different, but try to keep an open mind. （我知道这有所不同，请试着以开放的心态接受它。）

6. Barney: Oh, excellent. We'll take this one. （哦，太好了，我们就要这个。）

解析：

take: to choose or to have something 选择，要

例：

He'll have the fish and I'll take the chicken. （他点鱼肉，我点鸡肉。）

Do you take cream in your coffee? （你的咖啡要加奶油吗？）

You can have either one. Take your pick. （你想要哪件都可以，随便挑。）

在本剧 S01E15 中也出现过 ''take'' 的这个用法：

Marshall: No. Backgammon sucks. I  took the only good part of backgammon, the "gammon", and I left the rest of it in the trash where it belongs. （不， Backgammon 糟透了。我只取了它名字好的那部分 —— 后半部，前半部分被我扔到垃圾桶了，本来就该呆在垃圾桶里的！）

7. Marshall: No way.  The Kid does not sell out . （没门儿。小神童不会出卖自己。）

解析：

sell out: to change your beliefs or principles, especially in order to get more money or some other advantage—used to show disapproval 为了得到更多钱或好处而改变信仰或原则（通常用于说话人不赞同时）

例：

ex-hippies who've sold out and become respectable businessmen （他不再是个嬉皮士，成为了一个成功的生意人）
