1. “call off”– to stop or cancel终止或取消
a) ”call offthesearch”终止搜索
b) “i called off today because i’m sick.”因为生病,我打电话休假。

2. “look up”– search for.寻找

11. “carry on” – to continue. it can also be used when someone complains for a long time about something.继续;也可指某人不断的长时间抱怨某事

12. “look after” - attend to照顾
