: say this when you
suddenly realize something that makes a subject or situation easy to understand

clicked"
常用于口语中。
例:
Then it clicked. The man at the station
must have been her brother!

it clicked what/how/where etc.
Finally it clicked what all the fuss had
been about.
(我最后才明白个所以然来。)
7.
bring something home to
: to make
someone realize how serious, difficult, or dangerous something is
例:
This is the last place you would expect
there to be a murder. It just brings it home to you that this kind of thing can
happen anywhere.
(这个地方怎么都不可能发生谋杀案。你会觉得这种事可能发生在任何其他地方,而非此地。)
